Imagine you had 500 of the best food writers working for you – all for free. Imagine you had access to data and insights about what was trending across 500,000 recipes, and could use that to determine what “the next big thing” was going to be. Imagine you could be one of the lead business owners creating an entirely new sort of food property – with its own site, but also distributed across hundreds of other sites.
That opportunity exists – as the Editorial Lead of CafeMedia’s new food property and platform. CafeMedia represents 500 of the largest food blogs, including Damn Delicious, Skinny Taste, Once Upon a Chief, Pinch of Yum and many others – in aggregate the largest comScore food property with over 46MM monthly unique visitors in the US. We’re working to create something amazing that helps these fantastic content creators with our new platform, and also supporting their own efforts on their sites.
This is not a traditional editorial position, and while elements of the job will certainly be similar, much of what the ideal candidate will do will be figured out on the fly as we’re building things. This is a truly unique chance to do something special, and we’re looking for someone who is excited by a huge challenge and opportunity.
