VP, Data Intelligence

The Data Intelligence team’s mission is to surface/democratize data and information so that the organization can efficiently identify & capitalize on opportunities and anticipate & mitigate challenges for our publishers.

 

As a strategic partner to all teams across the organization, the Data Intelligence team works to:

 

  1. Ingest, transform, and store data efficiently
  2. Make information accessible via data products such as processes, logic, dashboards, and alerts. 
  3. Train & educate the entire organization on our data offerings/capabilities 

At our core, Data Intelligence is a service provider to the entire organization, and the VP, Data Intelligence leads the effort, management, and process that encompasses: 

 

  • Strategy -- Working closely with Finance, Product, Operations, and Pub-facing teams on planning, direction of data investments, and making sure that all aspects of our internal and external facing products can be optimized through thorough data collection and analyses. 
  • Data Governance -- Partnering with Product and Technology, enforce governance through clear and digestible documentation on all levels of data production. 
  • Data Infrastructure -- Partnering with Technology, ensure stability and future-proofing of all points in data production and accessibility.

Ideal experience:

 

  • 10-15 years in business intelligence and data engineering 
  • 5+ years in a leadership and mentorship position 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboration across multiple teams
  • Experience with AWS products, Database architecture, BI tools such as Looker, Tableau. 
  • Experience in the Advertising or Publishing industry a big plus
