Our QE’s are embedded in multi-functional product teams to advocate quality and continuous improvement at every stage of the software development process. Currently, we are looking to expand our team and hire a Quality Automation Engineer to join the Ad Code team. Our Ad Code product is deployed on over 3,600 sites that reach over 199MM monthly unique users. 

You will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will leverage your ability to interpret business requirements, deliver solutions that help our clients effectively monetize their traffic,and  make quality a part of every release cycle! In this role, you will apply best practices when it comes to quality automation, you have experience with web/browser fundamentals, as well as browser dev tools, you are passionate about integration, regression, and e2e testings, and you have a proven track record of communicating and contributing ideas, risk assessments, feature prioritization while weighing potential business impact.

The skills and experience you'll bring to the job:

  • Demonstrated experience writing automation scripts and implementing software applications to support backend, API, frontend and database testing
  • Have a passion for documentation in the form of test plans, test cases, and  bug detection
  • Understanding of how to apply best practice testing processes for new and existing products to meet product needs
  • Partner with QA team members to define tooling that enables improving testing efficiency, coverage and reliability 
  • Track record of communicating and contributing ideas, risk assessments, feature prioritization while weighing potential business impact

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$160,000. The range provided is CafeMedia’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
