Strategy & Insights Analyst

CafeMedia is looking for a strategic, creative and analytical thinker to join our team. The Strategy & Insights Analyst role is perfect for a right and left-brained thinker who is eager to tackle a wide range of initiatives that will help accelerate our growth.

As part of an entrepreneurial team, you will make a direct and immediate impact. You will support our media sales strategy which is fueled by data-driven insights. In your role, you will be responsible for evaluating daily trends, uncovering new opportunities, crafting compelling insights, and creating deliverables for advertisers. You will also be exposed to everything in the sales process: communicating with agency partners, developing proposals, setting up deals and inventory packages, and much more. This is an excellent opportunity to get broad experience in all aspects of insights and digital media!

Overall Role & Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and synthesize primary and secondary research sources, including content consumption behaviors, to uncover persuasive insights
  • Create compelling narratives that show why we are a great partner for our advertisers and bring findings to life in client presentations
  • Manage deal set up for advertisers, including private marketplaces, audience targeting,  inventory packages, and troubleshooting
  • Analyze delivery trends and uncover ways to increase scale with advertising partners
  • Develop insights and presentations for quarterly business reviews with key clients
  • Support custom research efforts from survey design to analysis of results to development of recommendations for advertisers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Communications, or related field
  • Recent graduates welcome to apply or 1+ years’ experience in consulting, marketing, digital/programmatic advertising, or research/analytics.
  • Passion for marketing and insights
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret patterns across multiple data sources and translate into visualizations and narratives
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment
  • Self-starter with a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
