Are you passionate about engineering principles and agile software development methodologies?

Raptive is hiring a Senior Software Engineering Manager to help continue to build out our Ad Code product and team. You will lead a team of software engineers and expand that team in a sustainable manner. You will mentor and coach individuals, helping them develop personally and professionally.

You are someone who can lead a team to develop high-performance JavaScript libraries while navigating browser complexities.  You are able to interpret business requirements and delivery solutions that help our publishers effectively monetize their traffic.  You are a player-coach, helping your team grow but also actively participating in the software delivery process.

The skills and experience you bring to the job

  • Broad and deep experience with designing and implementing JavaScript-based libraries and frameworks (i.e. not only web interfaces).
  • Coherent understanding of agile software development practices and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement to delivery capabilities including speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Experience collaborating and partnering with product managers to help with feature planning, estimation, and delivery risk mitigation.
  • Track record of being able to reinforce engineering and organizational identity within their team.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000-$250,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
