Interactive Designer
CafeMedia’s Sales Innovation & Marketing department is searching for an Interactive Designer who excels in rich media ad design, clear communication, strong collaboration and experience delivering assets in a timely manner.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and animating eye-catching advertising experiences for brand campaigns (using advertiser design assets, Photoshop/Illustrator and rich media ad builders)
- Working with Rich Media authoring tools to produce interactive ads
- Collaborating with internal sales team members to concept and design ad creatives for individual campaigns across a range of verticals
- Contributing to product ideation with mocks & prototypes of innovative ad ideas
- Contributing to producing sales materials and marketing communications, including client presentations, new product go-to-market materials, event collateral, email blasts, and more, when design expertise is needed
- Leading and participating in client creative meetings when requested
- Serving as CafeMedia’s design subject matter expert - with keen understandings of all IAB best practices and ad specs required on CafeMedia sites
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the job:
- 4+ years of relevant design experience
- Experience using Clipcentric, Celtra Ad Builder, Airtory (or other similar ad builders)
- Experienced in animation
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Portfolio featuring past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions
- Ability to manage work autonomously, multi-task and meet evolving deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to ask questions when design requests are unclear or when client assets are insufficient; the ability to communicate design best practices clearly to stakeholders
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other language proficiency a plus!
- Team player with a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000. The range provided is CafeMedia’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
